The default relic given to new players.
Relics are small ancient objects and are collected as the main objective of the game.
Each temple explored has three possible relics to collect—one found at the end of each of the three areas on a special relic challenge floor and are selected randomly. However, only one relic can be collected per temple per player. Additionally, players must face tougher obstacles the deeper into a temple they explore, so a relic only found in the Inferno comes with a much higher risk than a relic only found in the Ruins.
There are 32 relics in total that are spread across three different tiers:
- Tier one has 14 relics only found in the Ruins.
- Tier two has 10 relics only found in the Caverns.
- Tier three has 8 relics only found in the Inferno.
Upon starting the game for the first time, a single "tierless" relic is given to the player upon completion of the tutorial as a sample of what they can find during temple exploration.
As relics are collected, they are added to the room of relics at the back of the main area where they are displayed on individual pedestals and grouped by tier. Remaining relics become significantly harder to find due to being randomly selected upon temple entry.
Tier one
The 14 relics of tier one can only be found in the Ruins. These take the least time and are the least risky to acquire of all relics in the game. Collected tier one relics can be found on the ground level of the relic room.
Tier two
The 10 relics of tier two can only be found in the Caverns. Collected tier two relics can be found along the left and right walls on raised platforms in the relic room.
Tier three
The 8 relics of tier three can only be found in the Inferno. These take the most time and are the most risky to acquire of all relics in the game. Collected tier three relics can be found up the stairs in the relic room.
